How does Overdraft Privilege work?Overdraft Privilege will automatically be added to accounts in good standing 30 days after account opening. It will be activated upon presentation of a transaction that is in excess to your current balance, but not to exceed the allowed overdraft limit. What is an account in good standing?To be eligible for this Overdraft Privilege after thirty (30) days of the account opening date, the account must be in good standing which includes the following:
What is your Overdraft Privilege limit?The Overdraft Privilege limit on personal accounts is $2,500 and is available to accounts in good standing. What is the cost of Overdraft Privilege?There is no cost for Overdraft Privilege unless you use it. If your balance isn’t sufficient to cover a presented debit then you will be charged an overdraft fee of $35.00 for each item paid into the overdraft, within the Overdraft Privilege limit. What are the terms of Overdraft Privilege?You are expected to repay the overdraft amount, plus any fees. You must bring your account completely current and to a positive balance within 30 days of the date first overdrawn for this instance. If the account is not handled satisfactorily then the Overdraft Privilege feature will be removed from the account. If the account is not paid in full after 45 days then the account will be considered a collection account and appropriate action will be taken. |
